Got Lunch Hour? Why not spend it doing Big Things!
Tired of having lunch at your desk or sitting in the office lunch room? Want to do something "Big" with one lunch hour a week? Big Brothers Big Sisters of Warren County's School-Based Mentoring programs could be your opportunity to make an impact on the life of a child. School-Based mentoring volunteers are Big Brother or Big Sisters who spend one lunch hour a week with their Little Brother or Sister at their school. The Big & Little spend the lunch period talking, listening, playing games, & just hanging out. Currently, BBBSWC has school-based mentoring programs in the Hackettstown, Washington Township, Phillipsburg, White Township and Belvidere school districts. Is your bowling ball gathering dust in the closet? Can’t wait to slip your feet into some rented bowling shoes? Want to show off your admirable bowling skills? Then lucky for you, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hunterdon Somerset & Warren’s (BBBSHSW) Bowl for Kids’ Sake is just around the corner. Dedicated to matching children in our communities with Big Brothers & Big Sisters who act as cheerleaders, friends & mentors, BBBSHSW is a nonprofit organization whose annual fundraising efforts directly impact the lives of local children.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the agency’s largest fundraiser and a great way to spend an afternoon with friends, family, and colleagues that’s both fun and a great way to show your support for the agency’s continued growth as the need for Big Brothers and Big Sisters increases.

* Our volunteer opportunities are flexible to suit your lifestyle
* You don’t need a special skill to be a Big, most Littles say they like hanging out best
* It only takes a few hours each month to be a Big
* Little are kids who are looking for someone to listen, to talk with, and share memories
* You can help Big Brothers Big Sisters in other ways too, by giving a hand at our fundraising events
* If you can’t be a Big, you can donate event tickets or gift certificates to share with our Bigs and Littles
